A July visit and we were ready to help with any chore dished out. The garlic was doing well except for one of the new varieties which was rotting a bit. It deemed the best thing to do was harvest the two rows of this variety now and see how it does once dried.
Weather wise this was the first real taste of summer and the garden was behind in its typical size. We took this sunny opportunity to transfer the sheep hay to the garden to act as mulch.
