2025 Winter CSA Pickup Instructions

Please read the following general information and the specific information for your pickup site (listed below) to know when, where, and how to pick up your CSA share this winter season.

Pickup Schedule

10 pickups total | Thursdays except where noted

Nov 19 (Wednesday) - First pickup - note unusual day

Two-week holiday break
Jan 8
Jan 22
Jan 29 - Back-to-back week (no break)
Feb 12
Feb 26 - No bread shares this week
Mar 12
Mar 26 - Final pickup

Important Notes:

Holiday Break: Two-week break between Dec 18 and Jan 8
Jan 22 and Jan 29 are back-to-back weeks (no break that week)
No bread shares delivered Feb 26 (Starter Bread break)

How to Pick Up Your Share

Before You Arrive

Bring your own bags/boxes (green CSA bins stay at the site)
Check your email for this week's share contents
Have your pickup instructions handy (bookmark this page!)

At the Site: 4 Simple Steps

Check the order sheet - Find your name and note which shares you have. All shares of each type (produce, fruit, bread, maple and beans) are unlabeled and identical - choose any item from the categories listed under your name.
Collect your items - If there is an error, email the farm at csa@flyingcoyotefarm.com but do not take items unless your name is listed for them.
Transfer to your containers - Unpack CSA boxes into your own bags
Clean and stack

Wipe box into the 5-gallon bucket
Spray inside with sanitizer
Stack box lid-open with other empties

Missed Pickup Options

Option 1: Send a Friend (Easiest!)

No advance notice needed
Share these instructions with them
They'll find your name on the order sheet as usual

Option 2: Schedule a Make-Up

Email csa@flyingcoyotefarm.com ONE WEEK before your missed pickup

Include in email:

Your name
Date you'll miss
Preferred make-up date (must be a regular CSA Thursday)

We'll send a reminder email the week of your make-up.

Day-of Emergency?

Text Lili at 727-432-9383 ASAP if you're running late or forgot your pickup.

Please note: This requires significant coordination and takes time away from farm operations. Some hosts cannot accommodate after-hours pickup. The earlier you contact us, the better we can help.

If You Miss Your Window

Shares not picked up by 8:30 PM will be donated
No refunds for missed pickups
Contact protocols vary by site (see your location details below)

Community Guidelines

Our hosts generously share their space to make CSA possible. Help us maintain these relationships:

Respect Pickup Windows
Arrive during posted hours (most sites: until 8 PM)

Keep It Clean

Don't leave trash or unwanted produce
Return bins properly sanitized
Take only what's listed under your name

Be Mindful

Keep pets in your car or away from pickup area
Don't disturb hosts (no knocking/window tapping)
Park only in designated areas

CSA Newsletter

Every CSA delivery day we will email you a CSA newsletter detailing what's in your share. The newsletter will also include farm updates, recipes, and storage tips for your winter veggies.
