Dive deep into understanding herbal medicine using your own intuition and senses. This class offers guided techniques to learn how to evaluate herbal healing properties through organoleptic medicine tastings. We will discuss herbal energetics, basic natures and flavors of herbs, and discuss different herbs and how they work with different kinds of people. This class will connect things you've learned before about herbal medicine with simple direct experiences of the senses that are accessible to anyone. We will spend time in the Herb Garden at Flying Coyote Farm and learn about garden herbs with an intuitive method based on direct personal experience with the plants.

Basic medicine making of tinctures will be introduced and demonstrated and each student will go home with a plant extract. 

 A simple lunch will be provided, please pack a water bottle and wear comfortable, farm-appropriate clothing & footwear. You will receive an email with directions to Flying Coyote Farm and more info a week prior to the workshop.
