Please read the following general information and the specific information for your pickup site (listed below) to know when, where, and how to pick up your CSA share this season. These instructions can also be found on our website.

PICKING UP YOUR CSA SHARE

  • Bring Your Own Bags and Boxes: Please do not take our green CSA bins home with you.

  • Review the Order Sheet: Ensure you pick up the correct items. Check the order sheet and only take what is listed under your name. Produce, chicken, maple, and bread shares are unlabeled and identical, so you can choose any item from those categories. If there is an error, email the farm at csa@flyingcoyotefarm.com but do not take items unless your name is listed for them.

  • Wipe Out and Spray Your Box: Wipe out your box into the 5-gallon bucket and lightly spray the inside with the provided sanitizing spray at each site.

  • Stack Your Empty Box: Stack your empty box, lid-open, with the other empty boxes. If you are the first to pick up, start the stack.

  • Produce Shares: CSA boxes are identical. Take any box for your share and unpack it into your own bags or boxes.

  • Fruit Shares: Fruit shares start in mid-July (July 16th). Check the note at the pickup site for the amount of fruit to take each week (generally one bag per share).

  • Bread Shares: Find bread shares in the bin labeled "bread." There will be no bread shares delivered on 7/2 and 9/3 due to Starter Bread's summer break.

  • Chicken Shares: Find your chicken share in the cooler labeled "chicken." Chicken shares begin June 18th.

  • Maple Shares: Find your maple share in the box or cooler labeled "maple."

  • Mushroom Shares: Order mushroom shares directly from  Cloud Cap Mushrooms. The farm only delivers these shares and does not process orders or payments. Mushroom shares are labeled with the shareholder's name but not listed on the weekly delivery list.

FULL, HALF, AND QUARTER SHARES:

  • Full Shares: Start June 4th and are picked up every Wednesday for the 24-week CSA.

  • Half Shares: Start either June 4th or 11th and are picked up every other Wednesday for a total of 12 shares.

  • Quarter Shares: Start June 4th, 11th, 18th, or 25th and are picked up every 4 weeks, totaling 6 shares. If you have signed up for both half and quarter shares, your quarter share pickup will coincide with one of your half share pickups. See the pickup sheets emailed out each week and available at the pickup site on CSA days to confirm when your quarter share begins.

GENERAL CSA PICKUP ETIQUETTE:

  • No Trash or Unwanted Produce: Please do not leave trash or unwanted produce at the pickup site.

  • Pets: If you brought a dog or other pet, please leave them in your car or tied up away from the pickup site.

  • Do Not Disturb Hosts: Please do not knock on the door, windows, or otherwise bother the folks hosting the pickup sites. For immediate issues, email the farm directly at csa@flyingcoyotefarm.com.

  • Respect Pickup Windows: Our hosts generously share their space for CSA distribution. Please respect the pickup time windows and understand that shares not picked up by 8:30 PM will typically be donated or utilized by the host.

MISSED PICKUP POLICY:

  • Arrange a Pickup: You are welcome to have a friend or family member pick up your share if you are out of town. You DO NOT need to let us know if someone else will pick up your share. Ensure they know how to find your share and understand the pickup site operations.

  • Reschedule Option: Members can reschedule up to three shares per season with at least 7 days advance notice. Please email csa@flyingcoyotefarm.com with your name, pickup site, and preferred make-up date.

  • Day-of Emergencies: If you're running late or forgot your pickup, text Lili at 727-432-9383 as soon as possible. The earlier you contact us, the more likely we can arrange for your share to be held. Please understand this coordination takes significant time away from farm operations, so we appreciate your efforts to pick up during scheduled hours. Please note that not all hosts can accommodate after-hours coordination.

  • Missed Pickups: Policies regarding leftover shares vary by site. For most sites, if you miss the pickup window without contacting us, your share will be donated and no longer available. Only contact site hosts directly about missed pickups if their specific instructions indicate to do so.

CSA NEWSLETTER:

Every Wednesday, we will email you a CSA newsletter detailing what's in your share. The newsletter will also include farm updates, recipes, and storage tips for your veggies. Add flyingcoyotefarm@gmail.com and csa@flyingcoyotefarm.com to your contact list to prevent emails from going to your spam folder.

MEMBER BENEFITS:

As a thank you for joining our CSA, you will receive 10% off any purchases from our Hollywood Farmers Market booth throughout the season. We are at the market on Saturdays from 8 AM-1 PM (April-September) and 9 AM-1 PM (October-March). Stop by and say hello if you need more veggies, chicken, maple, or sauerkraut. We accept EBT, debit, credit, cash, and checks at the market.

PICKUP SITE DIRECTIONS AND INFORMATION:

PIEDMONT:

  • When: Every Wednesday from 11:30 AM-8 PM, June 4th - Nov 12th

  • Where:  119 NE Holland St

  • How: CSA shares are located under a pop-up tent in the driveway.

  • Pickup Policies: Your share will be donated to the pickup site if it is not picked up by 8:30 PM on Wednesday. If you miss your CSA pickup without prior coordination please reach out to the site host directly through text message to see if your share is still available Tanner - 425-890-6433

CONCORDIA:

  • When: Every Wednesday from 12:30 PM-8 PM, June 4th - Nov 12th

  • Where: 5631 NE 31st Ave

  • How: CSA shares are located in the covered area attached to the double garage. If you are facing the house the double garage is on your left located on the other side of the yard. Enter the gate to the right of the double garage by gently pressing it open (it has bells that will jingle). You will find the covered area where CSA shares are located around the side of the garage. The site host has two indoor-outdoor cats who are allowed to enter and exit through the gate.

  • Pickup Policies: Your share will be donated to the pickup site if it is not picked up by 8:30 PM on Wednesday. If you miss your CSA pickup without prior coordination please reach out to the site host directly through text message to see if your share is still available  Lauren - 206-327-5311

ROSE CITY PARK:

  • When: Every Wednesday from 1 PM-8 PM, June 4th - Nov 12th

  • Where: 3315 NE 52nd Ave

  • How: CSA shares are located under a pop-up tent in the driveway.

  • Pickup Policies: Your share will be donated to the pickup site if it is not picked up by 8:30 PM on Wednesday. The host will not hold shares past the pickup window.

MONTAVILLA:

  • When: Every Wednesday from 2 PM-8 PM, June 4th - Nov 12th

  • Where: 206 NE 73rd Ave

  • How: CSA shares are located behind the house. Walk to the end of the driveway and go through the red gate. CSA shares will be located directly in front of you under the covered area. Please park on the street and leave the driveway open for the homeowners.

  • Pickup Policies: Your share will be donated to the pickup site if it is not collected by 8:30 PM on Wednesday. The host will not hold shares past the pickup window.

KERNS:

  • When: Every Wednesday from 2:30 PM-8 PM, June 4th - Nov 12th

  • Where: 3046 Northeast Couch St

  • How: CSA shares are located behind the house under a pop-up tent. Walk down the driveway that is located to the left of the house to find the pop up tent where the shares are located.

  • Pickup Policies: Non-refrigerated items may remain available until the following morning, but this is not guaranteed. If you miss your pickup, contact the farm ASAP and we can check with the host about availability.

RICHMOND:

  • When: Every Wednesday from 3 PM-8 PM, June 4th - Nov 12th

  • Where: 4417 SE Windsor Ct

  • How: CSA shares are located under a pop-up tent at the top of the driveway.

  • Pickup Policies: Your share will be donated to the pickup site if it is not collected by 8:30 PM on Wednesday. The host will not hold shares past the pickup window.

WOODSTOCK:

  • When: Every Wednesday from 3:30 PM-8 PM, June 4th - Nov 12th

  • Where:  5722 SE 52nd Ave

  • How: CSA shares are located under an overhang on the north side of the house. There is an alley that sits on the north side of the house that can be used to access the CSA shares and for temporary parking.

  • Pickup Policies: Your share will be donated to the pickup site if it is not picked up by 8:30 PM on Wednesday. If you miss your CSA pickup, contact the farm ASAP and we'll connect you with the host to check availability.

FLYING COYOTE FARM:

  • When: Every Wednesday from 4:30pm-8pm, June 4th - Nov 12th

  • Where: On our farm, 16261 SE Ten Eyck Rd, Sandy

  • How: Please pull into the south driveway entrance and park in the area designated for guests and CSA members. CSA shares are located under the green roofed metal carport south of the parking area. If you miss your CSA pickup, contact the farm ASAP to coordinate picking up your share.

  • Farm Policies and Safety: We ask that you do not walk around the farm on your own as the farm has many hazards (electric fences, farm equipment, ditches, uneven ground) and we are not insured to have visitors touring themselves around the farm. This is also to ensure the safety of our animals and the privacy of the folks who live and work on the farm.
